Does anyone here own the Deck of Fate from Evil Hat? I bought them to use with the campaign I'm running, but I turns out that my players really like rolling dice.
I've been trying to find a wait to use them in my solo projects that is more creative than a simple Fudge Dice analog. Any one have any ideas ?
I don't own a set, but I'm always interested in what people have to say about products like this.

ReplyDeleteIn addition to a number from -4 to +4, each card has:
* From 1 to 3 suns or moons. They aren't assigned like just suns to positive numbers and just moons to negative ones; the whole spread gets some of each.
* Two words or phrases, one in the upper right corner, the other in the lower left. Examples: "Outmaneuvered" in one corner, "Bewildered" in the other, on a -2 card. "Perceptive" in one corner, "Position of Strength" in the other, on a +1 card. "Can't Do Much About It" in one corner, "A Brief Pause" in the other, on a 0 card.
I find them handy extra prompts when I need them.
