Hi Todd, have you thought of adding ancient decks to the collection? I think there should be complete XVII Century TDM decks available on the BNF or BL sites. Or you could think of Sola Busca tarot (XV Century, but very perculiar). http://www.tarotpedia.com/wiki/Sola-Busca_gallery

I have only included decks that are in the public domain, CC, or where permission has been given to use. Will check those out.
ReplyDeleteI guess that stuff over 2 centuries old is copyright free, but this is something I could never properly understand :)
ReplyDeleteWell, the originals are, but the digital versions were created much more recently. That makes it trickier to sort out was is legit and what isn't. Still, it's a great site and I need to check it out in detail. Thanks for the link. :-)
ReplyDeleteThis one says "Droits : domaine public" but a few cards are missing

Looks like the major arcana is intact. And, that's all the Zero Tarot app uses. Cool. I'll have to add more decks to the mighty to-do list.
ReplyDeleteA little google translate and I found a bunch of decks on the National Library of France site, all public domain. :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, the BNF is a great institution!!!
