I've begun playing a new medium fantasy campaign focusing much more on the writing than dice rolling (in fact you won't see a single roll).
In the first scene sister Cyna follows novice Enryn down a holy crypt as part of his rite of passage in becoming a rassophore.

I use my fact gen and a new description gen it sounds like sort of like the story cubes and adventure glyphs. Vague clues have a way of expanding my imagination, yet aren't as intrusive as concrete dictated info. They help me stay in character and try to see what my character is sensing and thinking.
ReplyDeleteKen Wickham Do you have a link to it?
ReplyDeleteMarko Savolainen Here is the blog d12 version of fact gen http://worldofthefifthsun.blogspot.com/2016/05/abs12-basic-fact-generator.html. There is a 4 die version at rpgnow/drivethrurpg PWYW if you search my name. This chart is based on vague clues for the sense and perception from a character's perspective. And basic mental thoughts about abstract concepts.
ReplyDeleteDescription gen, I'm still finishing and testing but it uses the same 12 column & row table style. Its based on a structure for descriptions rather than senses & concepts.
