    So, did Tarik win? If he lost, why is he being approached to recover the artifact.

    Also, I'd love to see you delve a bit more into the 9Q's you're using, and show how that influences the game.

    Todd Rokely - the questions are worded in full in the other posts, though so far they are fairly simple...

    One of the possible parts of be the GM in Q1a, says "The enemy pursues new goals" - in this if Tarik loses, I figured the enemy passes on the quest, or (thinking on the spot now) even becomes the 3rd party we have discovered is now also seeking the artefact.

    In fact the the Guild might have set up the 2 proponents deliberately!

    I haven't yet felt the need to break an encounter down into the RPG mechanics, but I see that likely to change...
