More shameless self-promotion - Post 7 in "Solo Role-Playing Series" has gone up. This one is just an example of play that includes oracles (tarot, icon dice, etc., as opposed to systems with finite, concrete results of a yes/no roll or a random table.)
I doubt it's anything anyone here hasn't already thought of - remember I'm aiming for beginners who want to do play solo but are looking for a "how to" they can follow as a guide. A benchmark, even a low one, can be useful when getting started.
Hopefully, I've demonstrated the use of the oracle well. If you feel otherwise please let me know! The last thing I want is to be too vague as to what I'm doing.
I welcome feedback so i can improve the post, clarify my statements, which i sometimes get garbled between my brain and my fingertips, or follow up with ideas in a future post.
Great stuff. I just did a quick glance for now, but it appears you're using the tarot oracles in a similar fashion to Storycubes?
