Not really. Though I used to go to a university library to consult giant renaisssance mythological treatises written in Latin, and described it to my flatmate as playing live-action Call of Cthulhu by myself.
I have never before LARP'd at all, but I can see getting geared up for a solo session to get in the mood. There are also things like Chore Wars and ARG's that can be done alone and I think I would consider that under the LARPing category. Even a New Years' resolution approaches LARPing sometimes - you're trying to be a "better you" or whatnot.
