Hello!

Hello!

While I am preparing my characters for my entry for the solo a module month, there was something I was wondering about.

Has anyone considered writing a module to solo themselves? What I mean is, first you design an adventure the way you as the DM would do for your multiplayer RPG group. Then, instead inviting friends over, you sit down and solo it as you would with a purchased module.

While it seems like a lot of work, it also sounds interesting, as designing situations/adventures is something that is real fun in my experience.

Do you have any experience or thoughts on this?

Yours,
Deathworks

  2. Never considered it. I will use a generator for open-ended adventure hooks.

Once I learned what a "sandbox" was I never looked back.

  3. Hello!

    Thank you for that feedback.
Personally, it will probably a long time before I try something like that out. I still have a lot of existing modules to play (and then there is my plan to convert Dreamscape into a dual layer adventure, which would yield limitless Xenoscape fun (^_^;; ).

Anyhow, thank you all for answering.

P.S.: I have to check Artichoke Dip when I got some computer time to burn.
