Blood of Pangea: Retrospace is very light too. You have to get the main Blood of Pangea pulp game, but both the game and the supplement are only a few bucks each on Drive Thru RPG.
Thanks guys for the suggestions - grabbed H&H, X-Plorers and Somnium Void - all look good for background & random tables - I'll test rules 'weight' over the next week or two :)
