Have I shared this game with the group yet? I can't recall. It's one of my all-time favorites. I'm bummed that the designer, Simon Cogan, stopped making PDF expansions and only uses the wiki now. Nevertheless, you can get all the expansions in PDF form.

The game lets you play your very own adventures in the doctor who universe. I'm taking some inspiration from both it and Stars Without Number for use in my Wanderer system. While this game has many different predetermined locations, I'm letting players create a matrix that creates the location and its challenges as they play. Imagine a blank version of the Adventures, where you roll, and if it's a blank entry, you fill the entry using the enemy, hazard or NPC creation rules and then encounter the same thing at this location every time you roll that result again.

  1. I love this game too (it's based on Barbarian Prince). I also had some ideas for using the base engine in solo rpgs but never got far along. How is your Wanderer system progressing? Jacob Ross

  2. It's going well, but slowly, since I have my day job to do and care for my family.
