What if there was some online structure to support semi-solo games?
Players could play solo, but somehow interact with some shared artefacts that introduce some otherness to the solo experience: shared places could change, a twist could be introduced by another player, etc
I've seen on G+ some 'wretched pilgrim' games where the original poster reacts to semi-random feedback from the gaming public.
ReplyDeleteThe doomed pilgrim games are good, but they are not solo experiences, but I see what you mean.. it's a kind of crowdsourced GM. I was rather thinking of an experience that is 95% solo with some limited external input.
