I've been thinking about the type of people who get into solo roleplaying. From my experience I have come up with 10 different types.

I've been thinking about the type of people who get into solo roleplaying. From my experience I have come up with 10 different types.

1. Writers
2. GMs learning a new system
3. Introverts
4. Roleplayers with no group
5. Roleplayers with an infrequent group
6. Those who think it's a fun hobby
7. Those who want to play their own choice of game
8. Family Man (or woman, or carer)
9. Stranger in a Strange Land
10. Roleplayer with no time for regular gaming

Can anyone either by experience or knowledge help me expand this please,
Thanks!

  1. Funny, I have been all of those 'different' types and often many of them at the same time.  :-)

  4. Thanks, Virginian John and Todd Zircher for those extra elements.

Do you think 9 should be folded into 4? The reason they have no group because they moved away from their old playing grounds.
